SAP FICO Consultant – Key Responsibilities:
🏗️ Implement and configure SAP FICO modules to support end-to-end financial and controlling processes
🧩 Integrate FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HCM) and third-party systems
📄 Conduct requirements gathering, blueprinting, and GAP analysis to design business-aligned solutions
🛠️ Configure sub-modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting (BA), and Controlling (CO)
🧪 Perform system testing (Unit, Integration, and UAT) and support data migration and validation activities
🧑🏫 Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and prepare functional documentation
🔍 Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and process enhancements
🤝 Collaborate closely with technical teams, business users, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications:
✅ Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support
✅ Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, AA, BA, CO-CCA, CO-PCA, and Internal Orders
✅ Experience with integration points between FICO and MM, SD, and other SAP modules
✅ Working knowledge of S/4HANA Finance, New GL, and Asset Accounting migration
✅ Experience with financial reporting tools, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis (CO-PA)
✅ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology
✅ Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
✅ Fluent in English; other languages (e.g., Arabic, German) are an advantage
Preferred Skills:
📍 Experience working with public sector or large enterprise clients
🧠 Knowledge of taxation, IFRS/local GAAP, and statutory reporting requirements
🔒 Familiarity with data security, audit, and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR)
☁️ Exposure to SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), S/4HANA Central Finance, and hybrid system landscapes (SAP ECC + S/4HANA)
